The house is situated on the outskirts of Freshwater in a quiet residential area, and is adjacent to an apple orchard, where there are several acres of fruit trees, and an attractive garden nursery.
The main village centre is 1.5 miles, the bay is about half a mile away, as is the golf course. We are wonderfully situated for walkers being on the Tennyson trail and 10-15 minutes from the old railway line to Yarmouth, which now doubles as a cycle path and footpath to the yachting centre which is 3 miles distant.
Freshwater is situated in the rural West Wight and is close to some beautiful scenery and several of the best beaches on the island, Compton owned by the National Trust has a beautiful long stretch of golden sand, Totland and Colwell are also lovely spots.
